Models are Still the First Choice of Bollywood

Fashion models have always remained on the priority list of the Indian film makers. Even girls from the modeling world view Bollywood as their alternative career field. In fact, it is believed that the easiest way to become a Hindi film actress is to first become a fashion model. 

Many beauty pageants winners have also made their name in the Bollywood Film Industry. From Zeenat Aman and Juhi Chawla to Sushmita Sen, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza- there are so many models who also became successful actresses.

Many Indian as well as foreign models have tossed their lucks in Bollywood. Some of them like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Bipasha Basu reached the top and some of them like Mugdha Godse, Sayali Bhagat, Giselle Monteiro and Jacqueline Fernandes are yet to make it big.

Still, this trend of turning of a model into an actress is quite common. Amy Jackson, Gauhar Khan, and a few have made their debut; and many other models are waiting for their Big Bollywood Break. Rather, the budget and banner of the movie and size of their role do not matter for models now. All they want is to make their presence felt in the Tinsel Town as they cannot do modeling all their lives.

Saifeena to Get Hitched in October Allegedly

The Bollywood hunk, Saif Ali Khan and the Style Diva Kareena Kapoor are all set to mingle and take vows on the upcoming October 16^th of 2012. This date has been confirmed by the veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, who is the mother of Saif Ali Khan.

The private sources are disclosing that the wedding ceremony of Saif and Kareena would be quite a personal affair and will be attended only by their families, along with the some close friends of the couple. This most awaited and exclusive Bollywood wedding will be kept low profile due to the death of Saif’s father, Nawab Pataudi, last year. The venue of the function supposedly will be the ancestral home of the Pataudis. It has also been decided to have a small reception, most probably in Mumbai.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kappor has been the hottest and the most talked about couple of the Hindi Film industry for around last four years. Having been in a serious relationship since 2007, Saif and Kareena were to get married last year; but could not due to the death of Saif’s father.

Unlike other couples, Saif and Kareena have always remained quite frank and open about their relationship. On the one side, Saif has been ready to tie knot since a long time; but Kareena has been delaying her marriage as she wanted to have full focus on her career. But now, at the age of 31, Kareena is all ready to become Mrs. Pataudi. After hundreds of rumours about the wedding of Saifeena, let’s see whether this buzz turns out into a reality or not.
