Talaash: The Shades Of The Tinsel town

The much awaited movie by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kaagati was finally released on 30thNovember 2012. Theyreally need a huge applause for weaving such an intricate narration of the story. The technicalities of the movie are also to be applauded and why not when the creative mind of FarhanAkhtar is also engaged. The way they have managed to unfold the story with its thrilling suspense that keeps the audience hooked till the end is a craft that makes the trio stand apart from the crowd. This gives the film a unique edge.

The Protagonists who leaves a mark

Aamir Khan as usual is the main protagonist who perfectly portrays the role of Inspector Surjan Sing Sekhawat. He gets a phone call from the Times Of India reporter, probing for death of high profile case he is working on, the death of a Bollywood star in a mysterious accident on the Mumbai seaside road. As a dutiful and arrogant police Inspector he bangs his phone in irritation but takes on promptly to solve the case.He asks his staffs if anyone had a contact with the media and that as long as it is under investigation nothing is to be out in public.

The women playing the contrast shades

Rani Mukherjee who plays the wife of AamirKhan in the film is undoubtedly one of the finest actresses and haveportrayed herself so profoundly that one is left speechless. Her no make up look with the dark and sad eyes as required by the role draws pathos of every heart who runs through the emotional upheaval and so connects to the role well.Kareena as she plays Roise, a golden hearted flirtatious hooker who attracts Aamir in the film, with an assurance to help him get rid of his emotional trauma as well as with the case.

The actors have given their superlative performance by their intense capacity of getting into the character and holding you tight to your seat. The scenes dramatically unfold in a manner which makes you feel as if you are involved in it.But the most striking feature of the film must surely be AamirKhan’s  role as anguished father,an arrogant and determined cop, which he performed so well that it stands with head high and needs hats off.The film will certainly get its share of positive feedback and applause as like its promotion and hype before its release. It is certainly going to give a different niche to the directors as well as the producers.
